Valverde picked up some bonus time, but frankly I think Caisse wasted the entire day. AC's LOVES the last day of Nice.

I have to agree, they could have made Astana work a LOT harder today, and then Caisse could still have created a gap at the finish to gain a few seconds today, and then have a very tired Astana team tomorrow on a stage where they could isolate the MJ and have a a fresher team.

Contador didn't look that comfortable.

LL Sanchez could do a daredevil descent tomorrow like in 2008. He's my tip for the stage win because it does suit him. He won't get enough time on Contador though, but should sneak onto the podium.

What racing were you watching? He looked perfectly fine to me. As for tomorrow, I actually think AC won't play a lot of defense. He knows the final climbs very well. Makes no sense to hope that he can hang on on the descent. I think Caisse blew a golden opportunity today.

Caisse's goal now has to be to get Sanchez past Kreuziger. Well, they better. I have money on Sanchez top 3 and if he misses out by a second, I'll be ****ed off haha. My best hope is if Sanchez takes a bonus second at the sprint at the top of the last climb.

I did not know that Tondo was a former winner of the Tour of Portugal. That gives me a whole new perspective on his performance today.

With LA-MSS in 2008. Take from that what you will.

Does it matter which Iberian team it was? It was an iberian team. As much as the fans love to desperately cling on to the hope that they're not all the same, they are.

Everyone here knows that RadioShack could ride like sacks of potatoes during the whole season but will have a miraculous resurgence in the Tour and will put on a climbing clinic. Which is where this is headed.

It doesn't matter if Tiago Machismo was with LA-MSS, because Buyneel looked into his eyes and knows he's clean.

Ah. I'm just bitter because I'm here at a stage race, and our crit just got canceled because of driving hail. No joke. Wind just blew down a stop sign.

That's as may be, but LA-MSS in 2008 were one that were actively busted. Is João Cabreira serving his time yet? He was suspended for 2 years last February but was riding in the Volta last August...

My tip is for Palmeiras Resort to be busted big-style this year. Seems to be their turn.
