Yeah Mollema is a lot like Gesink, not so good on very short ITT/prologues, but if it gets longer he moves up.

Probably will end up somewhere around 20/30th

Still better then I expected. Might end up enough for a top 10 final placing, we're already seeing some in that top 20 or so that were in contention for the overall placings doing poorly.

Ah sorry, forgot about spoilers! Don't worry I won't give up the result, it's a surprising one.

In PN news: Lulu 3rd at the check point.

Well, last year at this point had he done much? He was great in the Ardennes, but through March he had a 5th place finish at the Tour de Med and was pretty invisible at T-A (thing he finished 10th on a stage).

Last year he was still thinking about doing something special at his retirement Tour, and his ride was awesome more than once. But he knos he has had one more spin around the sun on the clock, so I would be amazed if he was considering a similar year as last year.

I would expected him to target PN as his real farewell parting stage race shot, then help Kreuziger in the TdF. In all likelyhood his last chance to shine.

But his head seems to want to do things that his legs no longer can. The pull he did yesterday ran out of Vino fuel long before it ever would, on a bad day.

It looks like he can no longer put the sustained effort in. And Vino was all about the sustaining.

Thanks for that. In the Paris-Nice thread. Who would have thought?
No need to watch it, now.

Well... all he told you is who didn't win.

I haven't watched it, but I feel safe telling you Gesink didn't win either.

Porte has to be the most aerodynamic rider ever, 62kg and a better TTer than climber...
But when Contador does it, people freak out.

I personally think he is more than 62kg, looks like he could loose a kilo or two.

You only wish your man could TT like this in his second year pro.

GO GO BRADLEY WIGGINS!

YES! First place, just eight seconds ahead of Porte! That should be good for at LEAST top 5 on the stage.

Talansky's time ahead of Levi and TVG at the finish. Other then Porte, everyone starting later seems to be having issues on the second half compared to Westra and Talansky.

** Edit ** and Wiggins I guess, though Porte gained on him on the second half.
