Oh god the largest ham the world has ever known is commenting on eurosport for the trillionth year running. Complete with room-temperature IQ (that's in Celsius) and a**holish attitude towards everyone and everything.

Time to recite the mantra

*I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will not punch the TV in frustration. I will (...)*

No. Portuguese eurosport. Sean Kelly knows what he's talking about. And by comparison is Laurence Olivier-like in eloquence.

And it begins. He just mentioned Laurent Brochard in the same breath as Fignon and Hinault.

That was the first sentence I heard out of him and already a decent-sized stupidity.

Mine is to not throw the laptop against the wall... It hurts me more than the commentator.

But when the time comes and the commentator says something mind-bendingly *** it's hard to comply, isn't it? :(

Harmon and Kelly are great commentators. By far the best cycling ones I've come across..

Look TT bike= so so nice.

That australian commentator I heard during the Vuelta was probably the best I've heard. Really knowledgeable, sharp.

Admittedly, I lose control sometimes... although I have yet to let the laptop slip from my hands which have instinctively started a centrifugal motion.

Perhaps that's the reason for a minimum of 10 characters on the forum.

By the way - I notice that Vacansoleil is one of Paris-Nice sponsors (bib numbers, big banner of the finish line etc) ... will that influence their wildcard odds?

Respectable rides by Horner and Danielson. Nice to see Boom living up to his expectations more and more each day he races. He will win a race or two this spring.

I think that's part of the plan. Coupled with their aggressive riding over the early part of the season and one would think they have a pretty decent shot at a wildcard bid.
