Most of them can do nothing. Why does everyone think they can just organize a chase and pull him back? This is the race of the least fkd and Boonen is strongest by far. None of the cobble sections give any advantage to the 'group'

I honestly don't know if they can pull him back. I just don't understand why they don't use their second rider to try to do something.

In Boonen's body language you can see some serious suffering. I have a feeling he is going to crack before the end, this is going to be very very very tense.

Indeed. Next 10 km are totally decisive, Ballan, Flecha must be fresh after so many km of wheel-sucking, they have to make something, otherwise...

What can two riders do tha Sky isn't? The entire group isn't working. It's not just Rabbo. I'm surprised the calculations seem to come down to cobbled sectors.

Yeh , these races simply favor the strong and boonenis matching what the group is capable of so far. Everything they hit the pave the strongest riders break off, this isn't a case of pulling back in numbers.

Chase won't work, natural selections are gonna happen regardless.

Boom, Ballan, van Summeren and Flecha is the ideal chase group with one of each team.

With strong sprinters like Hagen, Hayman, Boom or Guarnieri, it's normal to other guys like Ballan or Van Summeren be very suspicious of helping the chase.

Wtf is EBH doing he should have been in that move!

Same as he did the last time someone attacked: He's struggling just to hang on, you can't blame him for not going with him. It's not for lack of trying.
