Each pave he was clearly one of the strongest. There is no wheel sucking on this, let your ignorance say otherwise ;)

He's still hanging at the back of this 3 man group, with Ballan and Flecha working a bit.

I am disappointed by this.

Second best man winning everything, best sitting at home, third best making wrong decisions.

Hope the ardennes will be exciting.

Canc basically did the same 2 years ago

I like this one better, because Boonen's not the TTer Canc is, and Boonen had had a (somewhat) real chase behind him. The way I remember, everyone pretty much immediately gave up when Cancellara got his gap.

They showed boon doing work also. It's ok if you don't understand these races, no one blames you .

Yeh it really is anyone's game. I think Ballan followed by Flecha and boom

I know how you guys feel. Boom being the fastest sprinter in the group, but you're not sure if he'll do it.

I always feel that way when Boonen is in a small group to sprint for victory :D

Agree and also Boonen for almost 30 km was under 1 minute ahead. Boonen wanted the epic way. And got it.

I call Flecha second Ballan third. It would be nice if Boom got a podium, but it didn't work out.

Real chase?

Captains did nothing, domestiques weren't strong enough.
Most will dislike my comment, but Cancellara would have won both vlaanderen and roubaix.

Not really, Cancellara attacked, rode up to a breakaway and rode them all of his wheel. Boonen slipped away with a teammate because Pozzato and Ballan got a spontaneous case of downs syndrome.

Canc indeed looked good, but when exactly did he proof to be the 'best man' this season?

True, but if you look at the makeup of the chase groups.

Boonens chase was an injured Flecha, RVV specialist Ballan and Boom.

Cances chase group were the total PR specialists - Boonen Hushovd, Pozzato and a fit Flecha and all in superb form.

I disagree. Cancellara was out of the world, had a minute in notime, had 2 minutes with no time. Even touched the 3 minute mark with leaders chasing..
That was even more impressive

But still, nice 50km solo by Boonen!

I would have said that before today, but seeing boonen today, I don't think Canc could have dropped boonen in roubaix
