I am happy not to watch it in the middle of the night, but it does feel a bit more magic when one get's up really early to watch some event somewhere far a way on the planet, while everyone around you is asleep.
Yes, and of the different Olympics and Worlds in Australia or Asia, I recall Beijing in particular as getting up early and watching the race while the rest of the family were still sleeping.

Rutsch and Hoelgaard could go pretty far in this race. But the group needs at least 4 minutes before the first cobble sector to have a chance to stay away through the Arenberg which is the condition for getting a Top 10 from the break. It seems like that won't be the case today.

Gap could be already closed down by wallers if the top teams decide on opening the race early.

This has to be the most extreme fight for position when it comes to killing yourself just to be in position very far from the finish.
