Boring thing about cycling is that the best rider can basically always do solo's if they get away. Some may be better at it than others but it's not such a difference. You'll be hearing the commentator go on and on about how Küng would be difficult to reel back in, but if Philipsen happens to be the best on a day he could theoretically go solo too with pretty much the same effect.
