PR is to MVP what GdL is to Pogi. Put MVP in GdL against Pogacar and see the result. We would probably have a sprint today if not for that stupid mistakeThis didn't show that at all.

I agree.I’m all for Van der Poel but what you said is true and it’s impossible to deny no matter how many more times MVDP wins Roubaix, RVV or MSR. Further I hope he never tries to become a GT / GdL / LBL contender cause it’s just the wrong route to go. Instead an Olympic gold in MTB cause that is something Pog couldn’t do
Surprised to hear you say that. I thought it was as impressive as any of his wins. What a monster. This didn't show that at all.
Listen here you little ***...I feel sorry for the Brits that it has come to a situation where you go bananas over someone finishing 9th in a monument 5 minutes behind the winner Danish smug face emoji
And Mathieu would have smoked him.PR is to MVP what GdL is to Pogi. Put MVP in GdL against Pogacar and see the result. We would probably have a sprint today if not for that stupid mistake
No, the poster was saying that Pog is the greatest classics rider ever. Mathieu clearly showed that is not the case, with today's win. Mathieu wasn't losing to anyone today, and if he rides like that and has luck, Pogacar will not beat him here.Surprised to hear you say that. I thought it was as impressive as any of his wins. What a monster.
Probably but put MVP in Sormano. A rider able to contest all 5 against a rider able to win just 3. There is no competition. MVP can still be the best cobbled rider of all times and for me it should be his biggest goal, even if he is clearly in troubles to beat Pogacar in RVV.And Mathieu would have smoked him.
Hope he wins a couple of stages in the Giro as a consolation priceVan Aert: "No regrets. I have to be happy, and I am happy and satisfied."
Ah. Yes, that would be a bridge too far.No, the poster was saying that Pog is the greatest classics rider ever.
He doesn’t have to be better than them to win Liege, he just has to survive with them to the top of Roche-aux-Faucons. Kelly won LBL and GdL 5 times between them.No he can't. There are at least 10 riders better than him
Me? Said classics rider in the world right nowNo, the poster was saying that Pog is the greatest classics rider ever.
Even that isn't true. Did you miss today's race, and MSR? Also, be happy Mathieu wasn't at his top last week.Me? Said classics rider in the world right now
MVP doesn't have time to full focus on road race and lose some kilos to LBL, and that's a shame at the same time.Probably but put MVP in Sormano. Agree to disagree. You are still emotional because of Wout ehehEven that isn't true. Did you miss today's race, and MSR? Also, be happy Mathieu wasn't at his top last week.

What a race, what a battle!
Congrats to MVP on his 3rd PR victory. He showed his strength in this race again. TBF when Pog missed a turn MVP initially didn't push hard but was waiting a bit. Then it was race on of course and the Dutch managed to keep and then increase his initial gap.
Congrats to Pogi on the 2nd place in his debut. He lightened up the race with multiple attacks and it was a joy to watch the current TdF champion attacking big boys on the cobbles. He made a mistake but fortunately he finished the race in one piece and on the podium. No shame in losing to MVP, maybe the best rider ever in cobbles races. His current places: in monuments (1, 1, 1, 2, 3) plus WC (1) plus Olympics (3). Insane one-day racing stats, the most complete since Eddy.
which is relevant. but not so much if he still manages to finish ahead of them. There are at least 10 riders better than him
But he can't survive thereHe doesn’t have to be better than them to win Liege, he just has to survive with them to the top of Roche-aux-Faucons. Kelly won LBL and GdL 5 times between them.
