Red Bull...that would've been BIG. Thanks Contador/UCI/CycAus

I wonder now what's going to happen to those riders. Only 8 spots on FlyV...plus age restrictions means some riders are going miss out. :(
Beef, bull same thing.

Don't blame the shysters at the UCI for a non-UCI-related shyster selling a team down a river based on not guaranteeing money from the shysters he was hoping to use as sponsors, and the shysters in his country's national authority undercutting him.

Did you read that quote about Pat McQuaid. Pretty damning stuff if true...

Not sure if its been mentioned but Jai Crawford is now with Giant Kenda. Think its only Lowe now as the only one left without a team. Lets see:

Robbie McEwen - Radioshack
Serguy Klimov - ???
Trent Lowe - None
Svein Tuft - SpiderTech
Robbie Hunter - Radioshack
Luke Roberts - Saxobank
Christian Knees - Sky
Thomas Rohregger - Leopard
Bobbie Traksel - Landbouwkrediet
Jacek Morajko - CCC
Darryl Impey - MTN
Clinton Avery - ???
Rohan Dennis - Rabobank Cont.
Bernie Sulzberger - FlyV
Jay Thomson - Bissell
Aaron Kemps - FlyV
Darren Lill - DCM Chrome - S.A National Champ
Phil Zajicek -???
Jonathan Cantwell - FlyV
Jai Crawford - Giant Kenda
Ben Day - Bissell
Dominque Cornu - Topsport Vlaanderen
Darren Lapthorne - Drapac Porche

Bold is the recent developments.

Peter McDonald was listed as having joined FlyV but he's now retired from pro racing and is competing in club events against such mighty adversaries as me (well different category but still...). :D

Absolute legend of a guy.

I never cease to be amazed by the number of teams.

I just cant believe that there are companies most people have never heard of, willing to fork out what has got to ammount to several million a year, to pay for the bikes cars and salaries of riders to race with their name on the jersey, in races many cycling fans havent even heard of.

He is. Came second on the weekend in a state event here to Adam Semple. Was with one of the big up n comers from WA, Bradley Linfield at the end and took the sprint for 2nd. At the finish he was saying how the cheeky ******* tried to outfox him and how they were doing track stands at the end of the hill (400m to go). :D

all those small ct teams maybe have 500.000 euros of budget, not a few million. they pay minimum wage or even less to riders, many riders get onto teams and pay to ride, have rich parents or a sponsor like in formula 1. landbouwkredtiet is very good example of this. bikes are sponsored, cars are leased.
