I never cease to be amazed by the number of teams.

I just cant believe that there are companies most people have never heard of, willing to fork out what has got to ammount to several million a year, to pay for the bikes cars and salaries of riders to race with their name on the jersey, in races many cycling fans havent even heard of.

He is. Came second on the weekend in a state event here to Adam Semple. Was with one of the big up n comers from WA, Bradley Linfield at the end and took the sprint for 2nd. At the finish he was saying how the cheeky ******* tried to outfox him and how they were doing track stands at the end of the hill (400m to go).

all those small ct teams maybe have 500.000 euros of budget, not a few million. they pay minimum wage or even less to riders, many riders get onto teams and pay to ride, have rich parents or a sponsor like in formula 1. landbouwkredtiet is very good example of this. bikes are sponsored, cars are leased.
