Petacchi - whats the go with him?

What exactly is Petacchi being investigated for? I have read a few different things, but am unsure exactly what the evidence is against him, or what he is supposed to have actually taken.

What ever it is, he probably accidentally ingested it because it was in some chocolate he ate.

He took Simoni's lunch packet by accident.

Really, is it something with his asthma or what?

Human serum albumin & Perfluorocarbon (PFCs).

HSA is a protein in the plasma, can be used to reduce Hct I think. PFCs are artificial blood.

The police phone-tapped Filippo Manelli, a doctor from Brescia. That's where all this has come from.

"Your honour, I'm completely innocent. I went to my usual strip joint to get some coke for the night (completely OOC of course!) and the dealer must have spiked it. Here, I have the receipt... Either that or it was in the fluorescent light thingie I ingested by accident - Hushovd and Cavendish dared me. Here, I have the receipt."

See, I wish the Conti case was as clear cut. There's no debating the whether this is convincing or not...
