Does anyone out there think Schleck can do it? Pantani in the 98 Giro and Sastre in 08 defended small leads against superior TT riders Tonkov and Evans, but does Schleck have any chance at all of beating Conti by 9 secs tomorrow?

Unless Cotandor crashed, punctures and has a bad day there's no way that Schleck will actually take time on Contador, limit his loss perhaps, but not take time.

Isn't the number of people picking AC a bit weird considering we're looking at a 50k+ pancake, or is it just me?

It's not just you, as it is a bit weird. I think folks forget that this is long and flat. If ACD is top 3 on this type of stage, then the D has come to the front again.
