Why not get a new feature put in the forum that allows users to delete their own account?

I'll tell you why! You say to-MAH-to, I say to-MAY-to. Make sense? No? You're right. Because we have people in this world who, no matter how much sense you make, will do the opposite, otherwise known as "cutting off your nose to spite your face."

Then when one persists and gives numerous correct answers, the nonsensical party will rely on bs like, "you didn't go about it in the "right" way."

The problem for the logical person, no matter what way you said, or did something, the petty tyrants will find something to object to, for the sole purpose/objective of distracting from the real issue and.......

NEVER ADMITTING THEY'RE WRONG!

Pretty simple solution there, right? Even Facebook allows that. And Facebook blows.

Yes it does, but I am disappointed in your lack of ingenuity, Chewie. I figure you could get yourself kicked off the forum and all posts deleted in about 7 seconds if you put your mind to it. Surely that old monkey-jerk image wasn't the limit of your imagination. Maybe we should, in the Games & Fantasy Cycling section, create a contest for the most ingenious, dramatic, and fastest ways to get a CN forum account deleted. Prizes could include a Velorooms t-shirt or a ride with Joe Papp.

Dang, I forgot about that monkey...man, I have really mellowed out these last couple of years. I'd probably have to take some Geritol to get up the gumption to get banned now...maybe some testosterone gel or something would help? Low T, that's my problem.

Just wanted to say - great post.

Unfortunately, the only flaw in it was that if your name is posted there you are locked out of your account. all the posts are still available for everyone but you.

If you want to instantly get all your posts deleted, the quickest way is to write a few posts using a fake IP and in the style of BPC. Then you are gone and the earth gets salted.

People, that right there is how you end a post. Textbook. Beautiful. Brilliant.
