Some statistics:

The tallest riders in the Tour are Ben Turner and Alex Kirsch at 1.94 m.
The shortest is Esteban Chaves at 1.64 m.

The oldest is Dries Devenyns, who'll turn 40 on the final Saturday.
The youngest is Quinn Simmons, who turned 22 in May.
Simmons has lived a lifetime by 22. Rainbows, early promise, social media controversy, good moments, bad seasons, strange extended disappearances, bizarre hair choices, threats to retire, stars-and-stripes. I mean that would be a lot for a 35 year old.

ETA: Voted Pogacar. I think Vingegaard's form starts to go flaky the second half.

Well, the last couple Tours have been...

No we didn't. We simply were not expecting Vingo to be that strong. Roglic was the leader and Vingo coleader. Now we have an even duel IMHO.

We didn’t… what? Not sure how this is a response to my post.
You said that we had two duels in the previous two years, but even though that was true they were not anticipated, so it didn't apply. usually when something is so hyped and anticipated someone crashes out or something else happens.

Otherwise I did not understand your response to my post!

Thanks…I think we’re just talking past one another…no worries. Enjoy the race!

Pogacar has moved up to favorite over Vingegaard in odds, wonder what the odds would be if they didn’t factor in popularity.

So now the GC focus moves to the Pyrenees. There could be some interesting action on Marie Blanque (but if Pog is the initiator then Vinge won't cooperate) but the main question is: will the Skeletor show what he's made of and drop a watt bomb on Tourmalet to kill Teddy? He may need Wout, who's not in a good mood right now. It will be rather cold up there with thunderstorms (but not very cold) so maybe it's the cold weather king who will strike? Or likely nobody will want to risk on slippery roads and we will have just a few km of GC action in Cauterets

The Tourmalet will be very interesting. Not as high or steep as Granon though.

Also interesting if it’s cold. What are the longer range forecasts for the rest of the Tour?

Vingegaard will sit on the wheel of Pogi until Puy de Dôme. I expect the breakaway to take both Pyrenees stages.
