Rebellin vs Diaz vs Diniz vs Sayar.

I love this post :D

It's sad that security concerns make several teams skip this race. Would have been a great opportunity for Orica to give the likes of Jack Haig valuable leadership experience, the same for Sam Oomen, Laurens De Plus or one of the young Gazprom climbers.

Curious to see what Petilli can do if he's given the chance to shine.

I hope Hirt will get free role to try something in the mountains, but by the looks of it it will be evertyhing for Rebellin. The talent is there and not small one.

With Hirt, Samoilau and Szmyd CCC do have plenty of backup options anyway. I suspect the plan is for Rebellin to already have the lead by then so Hirt would be domestiquing but if he isn't, he could get an early attack in low down the climb to allow Tintin to follow wheels. Potentially the best Czech stage racer since Kreuziger.

As for Rebellin vs. Sayar vs. Diniz vs. Díaz, we're just missing W52...

Also David Belda for Roth-Skoda has been good at this time of year for the last couple of years and could go well on the mountains. I'm hoping for good things from Jaime Rosón, he went well on La Plataforma in Castilla y León.

Not sure why everyone's ages have frozen in 2011 though.

Niemiec is going to get a nice lead here. Gap still over 2 and a half minutes with 13k's to go

I'm all to happy, I've put a little money on him :D

Nice! Even 1 minute is a decent lead for him, he could be strong enough in the mountains to hold on.

Greipel himself pulling the peloton, my lord how strong is he, you can see the others just praying he'll calm down!
