SaiyanCrazy how Rog always comes back stronger after injuries. Some cyclists go to altitude to peak, Rog just gets injured. The end results is he now has 4 Vueltas and 1 Giro with a Tour podium. All that in the last 5 years.

Giro prologue result seems fairly ridiculous. Just not buying this guy at all. I'll confess, something about him just rubs me the wrong way, maybe the smirk.
Wow, you're going deep. Feel like that says more about you than me?Wait until you hear his interviews six years later... i.e. triggering guaranteed!
Meh forgive the necro bump here because I actually don't care - at all. We all have our favorite (& least favorite) riders so hey, you do you. Me? I'm a certified Froomey hater. For real. Snake Eater might have been my favorite video game when I was younger but Mr. "I feed my classmates' bunny rabbit to snakes" Froome was a literal psychopath.
As for Rog. I wonder whether this thread will be further bumped over the next 3 weeks. A part of me hopes it does, actually, i.e. at least it would mean he'd be putting on a show.

For my part, I don't love that comment I made at the time. I have never loved Roglic, but I like the way he races, I respect his preparation and talent, and he seems a genuinely nice guy. I think he takes way too much flak for "wheelsucking" (tell me you've never raced before without telling me), and crashing. Some his fault, some bad luck.
I certainly don't "hate" him. I like some things he does, I dislike others. I'll comment on both.
What I feel about a rider, or rather what someone on the internet THINKS I feel about a rider, has no bearing on the validity of any comment I might make about them.
Well we have found common ground in our hatred of Froome!Don't read too much into this. There's a point where catching flak is just gentle teasing. This is it. That other user in the Rog thread made a comment about the clinic so here we are. It's just light-hearted fun. Nothing deeper intended. I also get this is the 'eve before the Tour' and for there's a fervour that can easily become a fever, i.e. suddenly going on and on about a silly interview was just... strange. In my opinion.
But I most certainly don't hold your dislike of Rog against you either. Go ahead. It's pro-sport. Liking some and not liking others is part of the game. I know that because like I said, I really hate Froome. With a passion. For real. The man even managed to find a way to annoy me when Rog won the 2020 Vuelta (by organizing an impromptu rider strike against the time Rog gained versus Carapaz the day before).
Mostly I have to work to not let his more rabid, adoring, and uncritical fans bug me. It's work.
@Rackham inflating Rogla's thread so he could rival against the mutants! (here and at the Tour)
The real African Psycho.I'm a certified Froomey hater. For real. Snake Eater might have been my favorite video game when I was younger but Mr. "I feed my classmates' bunny rabbit to snakes" Froome was a literal psychopath.
Well, that's not his fault. He deserves all the more praise for how well-adjusted he is, I think.Wait until you hear his interviews six years later... i.e. triggering guaranteed!

The thing about psychopaths, however, is that they don't realize it's dark.If Jeffrey Dahmer is the lowest bar, then I guess Froome could be considered well-adjusted... of sorts.
There's basically cheats in this sport, liars, bullies and so much more. But Froomey went some pretty dark patented places in his life journey.
As for Rog, the fact he only has 25 pages here is evidence of the absolutely unbelievable level of the other mutants, namely two of them, over the past 4 years. We'll see if he gets a grand finale and go out all guns blazing. I do unironically hope so.
Aka if these others riders are getting away with all sorts of skulduggery, then all is fair in love and war. I'd love to see the look on peoples' faces if Rog drops a nuke or two in the Tour.
Is it not customary for Rog to crash out of the race after a week? He's rarely around long enough to drop nukes, irrespective of whether he's capable or not.I'd love to see the look on peoples' faces if Rog drops a nuke or two in the Tour.

I think he's had a few too many crashes during his life.Judging by his comments in interviews, he's definitely been on drugs but I'm not sure they're the performance enhancing kind.
