who would be your team leopard-trek tdf lineup?

I would take these for certain:

A Schleck
F Schleck
Monfort
Fuglsang
Cancellara
O'Grady
Voigt
Posthuma

Leaves 1 spot where it's difficult to decide. It might be between Zaugg and Feillu if they want to take another climber. Bennati might not be a bad gamble either. He is experienced, climbs reasonably well for a sprinter and could place the Schlecks in the front of the bunch during the sprint stages.
Or another strong guy to pull in the wind in front of the bunch, like Stamsnijder ... you can't hide much behind Zaugg for example.

I think it'll all depend on the form for the last spot, it looks like Bennati and Feillu will go to the Giro, no idea about Zaugg.

No room on the Tour squad for a guy who can climb and is French? If Caisse d'Epargne could find room on their Tour squads for the likes of Arnaud Coyot and Matthieu Perget, then Leopard should be able to find a spot on the squad for Brice.
Caisse didn't have a potential Tour winner in their squad. Of course, the Schlecks might take him to please the French, but from a results perspective it would be a bit strange to chose him above, for instance, Zaugg.

I would like see how the jersey looks in real life, because it looks terrible on screen.I had hoped it might look something like the Luxembourg champs jersey. Meow

They did in 2008, when they took Arnaud Coyot and Nicolas Portal. They did in 2007 when they took Portal, and they did in 2006 when they took Florent Brard and Portal again.

Personally I'd drop SOG from the train of pain to make room for an extra climber and take both Zaugg and Feillu. It's always worth having a French rider in the team for Le Tour, they'll be motivated and peaking. Cancellara, Monfort, Posthuma and Voigt are enough power on the flat to be able to afford to drop a flat domestique.

Ain't not gonna happen, O'Grady is the capitaine de route. Then they'd have to drop Voigt and that would be a real shame :(

Must be Mallorca but really doesn't look like Mallorca

Heavy competition for Mick Rogers in Andalucia (Feb 20 - 24):

Andy Schleck
Frank Schleck
Jens Voigt
Linus Gerdemann
Anders Lund
Maxime Monfort
Stefan Denifl

A guy who can climb and has won on the climb to Arcalis (even from a breakaway) can definetly climb. He should be on the team.

A Schleck
F Schleck
Monfort
Fuglsang
cancellara
O'Grady
B Felliu
Gerdemann
Posthuma
That would be my team

No Jens Voigt?? Surely this is an oversight on your part!

I'd swap O grady for Voight, much more help for AS and better for the TTT.

Sorry if this has been discussed already but this is the first time I've seen a rear view of the kit. What is the significance of the O? Similar to the e' in Cervelo?

e - for cerverlo
O - for leopard
R - for radioshack

it's getting kinda silly

Well, if that is how LEOPARD TREK wants to be referred to then I guess we must obey their every command. It will be interesting to see which media outlets will follow the intructions and which that will just ignore it.

We should just continually refer to LEOTARD SHREK by different names every time the subject comes up.

For example, when it becomes necessary to say that no wonder Bjarne Riis couldn't get along with this crew. The LEPPARD HECK team are acting like douchebags. Jens Voigt must be trying to get out of his contract already.

Maybe the name is actually in Lëtzebuergesch?

Yea, but how many of you pronounce AG2R as "ah-ʒey-düz-air"? And how many people will pronounce Movistar like "movie star"?

They may be asking people to pronounce the name like in Lëtzebuergesch, I just don't think in practice many people for whom "Leopard" isn't pronounced the Lëtzebuergesch way will bother.
