ttrider said:I think Fuglsang is massively over rated, didnt really see him at the tour last year and with the backup lux have the one they will miss is sorensen, ie someone to decimate the field down to the favorites and prepare the andy and frank duo, on the tourmalet he did a good job and fuglsang will surely be the link between voigt/cancellara and Andy/Frank in the train up the mountain with out a sorensen it will be a group of 40 and to big, It will surely be up to Fuglsang to bring this down to 15-20. Whether he has the ability is another matter, i highly doubt it unfortunately

Christian said:Judging on his GT performance so far, I'd say his chances are pretty slim. Yes, he rode for Andy, but don't forget that Andy and Fränk were able to achieve Top-10 placements while riding for Sastre.
Anyhow, it seems that the team is currently deciding between Northwave and Mavic for their shoes, and that Bontrager will supply either the helmets or the wheels (depending on whether you believe this article (french) or this article (german). It also appears that they will compete, at least in the beginning of the season, in neutral jerseys without a name sponsor on it.
As Sastre only got the jellow jersey in the final mountain stage, and Andy had a white jersey to defend, I think he's excused for trying to defend his GC position.Matthijs said:A good domestique stops contending for a 11th place when he is dropped. This way he is better the next day and ride better for his captain. A top 5 spot is really good, but really Andy shouldn't contest for a top10 back in 2008 helping sastre... Maybe Fuglsang just did his job better then the Schlecks?
basically, both were sh*t comparing to navarro and others.theyoungest said:As Sastre only got the jellow jersey in the final mountain stage, and Andy had a white jersey to defend, I think he's excused for trying to defend his GC position.

Christian said:Maybe. I don't find it that surprising though, it has often been said that the team is run in a similar fashion as High Road or Slipstream; Katusha and Astana don't have title sponsors either. The only surprise is the choice of "Leopard", as it had been stated on several occasions that this would not be the name of the tem (even by Brian Nygaard I think).
