Ok, so the proposed idea to rid cycling from doping and the only way to make 100% sure a Cyclist doesn't dope is to have someone watch him 24/7 during competition. This would at least ensure that the rider doesn't dope during competition.

Enter DopeSquad, a highly elite unit trained in anti-doping measures and other specialized anti-doping techniques. These individuals are not part of the team or hired by the team which is of course important. These individuals would work for the Tour De France.

Now you probably think this would be too expensive to do...who would pay these guys right? Well guess what...I solved that too. These would be trained volunteers from "The Clinic" section in the cyclingnews forums working for free...or just trained volunteers.

Now you wouldn't need that many volunteers since you would only assign volunteers to the top favored riders in the tour.

Suggested Volunteers would include:

1) SilentAssassin
2) BroDeal
3) Scott Socal
4) thehog
5) Oldman
6) etc.

Now whenever an accusation comes up...you wouldn't need to speculate...we'd just ask the person who was assigned to the cyclist if the rider cheated. For example, Wiggins has a great performance on a mountain stage, and people start wondering if he cheated. Scott Socal refutes, "Nope watched the guy all day. Searched him before he went to the bathroom or took a shower. The Wiggo is clean."

It would be an inconvenience for the rider, but it would just be a price they would have to pay to compete...just like how they have to deal with the media, and numerous drug tests, etc.

Why not imitate football. Hire call-girls to do the spying. Heck, I think the riders themselves would be willing to pay. I'm sure Zahia would be willing to arrange things.

As a matter of fact, LInus Gerdemann made this offer a few years ago, but for the build-up to the Tour, not during the race. No one took him up on it.

or get big bucks in your first tour with T-Mobile. Then have Barnie Riis ordain you as the second coming of Christ, whoops, mean Jan Ullrich.

Then, in the inimitable phrasing of Baden Cooke "He may not be able to pull the skin off a custard." <change tense to past tense>

Big debut by Linus. The most beautiful girl ever to ride a bike and be in the mens peloton.
