Joe can you give us any details on what happened to the list of the riders that you sold to and who the riders from SC are on it? Will they ever be suspended?

Reading USADA's Reasoned Decision it made me wonder why nothing was ever done about this problem or the riders.

"USADA came to understand that Floyd Landis might have information useful to this effort. However, before USADA communicated with Mr. Landis on this topic, Paul Scott, an individual residing in Southern California, provided information to USADA Science Director Dr. Daniel Eichner confirming that Mr. Landis had information relevant to USADA’s investigation of doping in the Southern California cycling community and also providing information about the involvement of Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Landis in doping on the U.S. Postal Service Team."

Joe Papp is out there somewhere looking for another 5 minutes of fame. The guy is sitting in his bedroom thinking up some more fake little local Euro wins and other fluff that he can add to his Wiki page to look real pro.

Papp is all over Facebook and Velonews posting arrogant, negative comments to other people. I read a few days ago his crap about how David Millard shouldn't criticize the UCI because of Millar's status as an ex-doper. Yet, he goes on pedaling his own brand of ex-doping confessions to any tv station that will give him another few minutes of fame.

Question. SC. Does
SC = South Carolina?
or
SC = SoCal = Southern California.

When/Where did he blow up so to speak?
Here. A couple weeks to a month back. Got into some forum spat with other denizens. Browse the Moderator thread, or those other threads in the "About this Forum" forum. I'm still not sure exactly what happened, except it was SAID that he obtained another user's real life name, and sold it to LA's attorney, Herman. It was about the time LauraLyn got banned, and I think somehow the two incidents were related. So it got into a he says, he says, she says routine. A couple of mods apparently quit over the whole incident(s), and Joe apparently threatened possible legal action. Yada yada yada.

Amazing the blazes that go on under our very noses! And almost no smoke!

Lol, his wikipedia page is hilarious. If he didn't write all of that himself it would probably be about one paragraph long and have to do with his testimony during the Flandis trial. Not even Contador's wiki page has that many results listed! Dude's got some serious issues...

You're right. I checked out some real pro cyclists Wiki pages and they aren't even half as long as Joe Papp's obviously self-promoted Wiki page is. Seriously! It looks like Contador doesn't have as many wins as the mighty Joe Papp. What a complete self-propagating doosh Papp is! All those local Euro wins he is claiming are bogus and unverifiable anyway.

19th Final General Classification - Vuelta a Cuba (UCI 2.2) tells it all.

Desperate situations create desperate individuals. But at some point you have to sleep in the bed you make.

For details why JP isn't around here, Barrus gave a way over the top, but detailed explanation as to why. It's out there on the web if you look.

As to the OP, I don't think you're going to get a list from Joe, ever. It's mostly made up of national level pros and Cat 1-4 level riders we've never heard of.

Nice find on the sock puppet investigations Wiki page! It appears that Joe Papp was found to be surreptioiusly editing some Wiki pages I suspect, including his own. Ayone know? Hey shalgo, just wanted to know what does this mean from the page you linked to...

All of the users have been involved in editing the articles Joseph M. Papp and/or Mike Fraysse:
Azx2, Cyclists Ultimately Need Truth, Cyclingfansanon and Ciclismoaldia are all involved in: Joseph M. Papp history
Azx2, Cyclingfansanon and Ciclismoaldia are all involved in: Mike Fraysse history
They also all have cycling themed user names, with the exception of Azx2, who instead says on his user page that he "[like's] cycling and [is] contributing to some of the articles that are of interest" SpitfireTally-ho! 09:22, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Is Joe Pap some sort of a celebrity/ publicly known person?

Domestic US racer, caught for doping, found out that he sold dope to tons and tons of domestic racers for years. Got a plea bargain by naming names, came on here about the same time making waves and begging for forgiveness. He was an engaging guy and was one of the few actual doping racers that we had access to on the clinic, so he was an active figure here. Google him in the news if you want to read about his case and sentence.

Joe was a standout regional racer. He was also selected for the national team early in his career. The response to Joe's drug related activities were the subject of some interest. Joe has been a rider with a drug history both as a user and distributor. Joe Papps' name was not widely know within the United States but got a great deal of recognition from drug offenses within the small cycling community.
Lemond,Armstrong are famous. Those 2 plus Eric Heiden,Landis,Hamilton are the only cyclists that have any recognition within the general US public.
Lemond and Armstrong are the only two that would be stopped at airport or other public place because of a regular citizen recognizing them. Joe Papp can walk around even the Pittsburg airport without being recognized by the regular public and by 99.9% of cycling fans.
Todd Golgulski and Frankie Andreu are way,way more famous than Papp, you have surely heard of them haven't you
I just read Papp's wiki page after reading some of the posts and nearly wet myself
