Quick question about carbon rims

No, I've had several different sets of carbon wheels & never had the problem. I use Swiss Stop Yellow pads & SRAM red brakes but never had any problem on Dura Ace brakes or cork pads for that matter. Maybe I've just been lucky! I regularly hear the screach around me from other braking in races.

Haven't had the problem myself. I use fairly cheap carbon-specific pads with 105 or Ultegra SL calipers and I don't get much noise with my non-dimpled Zipp 404s or my rear HED 3C. Usually with the HED 3C it's not a situation where I'm braking hard or a lot of course.

Swiss stop rule, I have a cheeper pair of zipps on right now thinking I could save a couple of bucks.

The noise is killin me, my decending has gotten much more sketchy.

Put a little grease on the rims where the brakes rub. That'll stop the squeaking.

The screaming, on the other hand...

(P.S. You didn't take that seriously  did you?)
