Middlekurka! (Anglicized verbalizing, sorry)

Awesome. Those sand pits look deadly - the first corner definitely would make some separation - and those steep little berm climbs - tough!

What was this broadcast in? Do you speak the language?

Dutch (with Flemish accent)

So my avatar just won his first cross with the espoirs, unsuprisingly. :D

Today should be a crazy day, it's been raining throughout the entire morning and it's still raining. Very muddy parcour. Looking forward to it, first time this year I'm watching cross again. :)

Eventhough I got soaked twice because of the rain, at least the same rain area (which covered almost all of the Netherlands and Belgium most of the day) enabled me to see an epic race. It really was crazy, so much mud.

Good to see Walsleben, Meisen and Bina up there. It's always good to see riders from outside of belgium doing well.

Van Der Haar a bit disappointing today, but all this mud isn't his thing at all I guess. Van Amerongen was pretty good, but I think he's usually top ten if it gets all muddy. Van Der Haar should really go well this season though on the faster less technical races. Hoping he can win a big cross this year.

Van der Haar was much better today than he was at such races last season, I can see easily see him winning some big races this season. With him, Teunissen and van der Poel, the future looks bright.

And like you say, it indeed is sweet to see non-Belgians up front.

He looked great early on, but faded pretty steadily as the race went on. I guess being so small may hinder him in the muddy stuff that just takes a lot of power. I like his riding style though, always attacking. Hopefully he has a good season this year.

Van Der Haar!!!!!!:)

Though if Pauwels didn't have a mechanic issue it might have been different, but Van Der Haar was really strong.

Also, who knows what Sven Nys would have done without two flats and a broken chain?
