9 out of 10. They could have got a perfect 10 if the Strade Bianchi stage was a little more difficult, and if there was more than one difficult stage in the last five days.

I know its all down to personal choice, but christian, how can you give the Tour an EIGHT yet only give the giro a FOUR?

Gave it a 9. I'm not so sure about the epicness of the mtfs that they've presented, but it's sure to be a really good Giro - and there's a possibility it'll top last years.

Only thing is that the stage 16 TT should be replaced by a flatter one (unlike Kronplatz, Nevegal isn't enough of a challenge to justify the mountain TT).

As long as we have TV coverage for the Fedaia, I'm happy though.

At least 7 times as good as the Tour parcours.

I would give it an 8, the best way to improve it, is to include some TT kilometres, or take out the Mountain TT and put in a flat one of a few more kilometres. But I will say that it will once again make for epic racing

Gave it a 8.
Not to sure about the Mountain TT. A bit 'all over the place for me'.
But otherwise great. Lovely mountain stages, I can already imgaine the suffering :p
Like the Etna stage, probably my favourite.

One one side it's a spectacular course on the other hand there are so few stages where the gc guys can recover that it cries for some hematocrit boost along the way...

Very sick route... Almost too difficult.

Anyone who thinks they can do the Giro-Tour double next year better rethink their plans.

BTW, this is an absolute SCANDAL! There are only 33 non-climbing ITT kilometers.... OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

8.5, but I gave it a 9 since I think I overrated the Tour by the same margin.
I'd like to have seen a 40km rolling ITT replace the mountain ITT, given that we already have 7 MTFs.
Having the token flat ITT as the finale is probably going to be utterly pointless, unless it rains and the leader does a Dennis.

mmm i didnt realise the last itt was so long. 32.8 km, thats just about long enough to make a difference. If the difference is a minute going into that stage, you never know.
