Sean Yates has just been on BBC radio five live in the UK denying that he ever saw or heard anything about Armstrong's doping activities.

he has to get fired though. even if he didn't know which is EXTREMELY doubtful. he should now his position is bad for cycling and just go. he's just trying to save his job and it's not going to work. goodbye yates! idiot anyway deciding wiggins was to win the tour instead of froome.

Lance Armstrong still has some support among riders in elite cycling despite a damning report by the US Anti-Doping Agency that detailed testimony from 26 witnesses, including 11 former teammates.


Samuel Sanchez, the 2008 Olympic road race champion, is among those supporting the American rider.

In a Spanish language television interview with The Associated Press before today's third stage of the Tour of Beijing, the Euskaltel-Euskadi rider says, "Until the contrary is proved, he remains innocent. Lance has overcome many controls and even until today he has never been found positive in any of them."

USADA released vivid details of the doping accusations, portraying Armstrong as a man who spared nothing to win the Tour de France seven times. The agency has ordered that Armstrong be stripped of those titles.

I didnt realize you had totally eliminated the possibility of anyone else on the team doping. I thought your comment that wiggins wasnt doping because he didnt weigh as much as Lance was just a joke.

I always knew Samu doped, but that he defends lance so strongly now suggests to me that he may still be doing it.

lol. you are totally clueless here. it's about bmi. lance's bmi is ridiculous compared to his way of racing. the guy rode harder and more explosive than purito on climbs, who is 18 kg lighter and only 8 cm smaller. or compare to contador who is same size but 12 kg lighter

also. I asked for suspicious riders at sky and if you could only name froome then it doesn't mean much to me. I remember with us epostal some quite ridiuclous improvements like hincapie, danielson and landis for instance

I heard that interview this morning and was shaking my head in despair. Really bad journalism letting Kelly spout such nonsense without challenging him. I'd expect it from Kelly but Paraic Lodge the interviewer was awful.
