Yup, I'm back! Same format as last year, but with a little twist:
I'll select a race one day ahead - using my highly scientific method - and then I'll write a few lines of information about it, then you can see if you can guess it.
Please note that there will not be a prize for getting it right. Well, you could buy yourself some cake, but you can also buy yourself some cake if you don't get it right.

Here's the first riddle. Will be revealed on 1/12.

Distance: 225.9 km
Vertical meters: 3200
Gradient final km: 0.0 %
Average speed winner: 43.873 km/h
Won how: Sprint of 3 riders
 
Well if it were 255.9km, it would fit the data for the Amstel Gold race perfectly, but as it is, I've no idea.


Given that you have quoted it: the idea of giving average speed to three decimal places is ridiculous: suggests that they know the distance ridden by the winner to within 1.5 metres.or the time to the nearest eighth of a second. PCS's fault, not RhD's, but a pet peeve of mine.
