Everyone dead in the sprint. Not much time to recover after the hills. Del Grosso went a bit too “slow”. De Lie came from behind with more speed and was strong enough to hold on.

At this rate how Arnaud if riding. Send him to Rwanda!! 😁

Super smart from De Lie to just follow Bittners wheel the last few km. Bittner always goes early when he's not in a good position, and he did the perfect leadout.

I also think he went into complete recovery mode (bluffing) after he got dropped, knowing the only chance he had was a bunch sprint.

Chapeau De Lie - stage win and GC left it late but great win.

Magnier too strong for his own good. Was following all the attacks in the final 20-30km and then went all in on that final attack. Could have won that stage if he had played it cool. But I guess the tactic could have been for him to attack and Merlier to sprint, but Merlier got dropped on the penultimate climb.

He's had a disappointing and strange season. Two good leadouts in this race on easier parcours and he goes backwards, today on a tougher stage with limited team support and he does better.

WT race almost purely for sprinters where like 1 of the sprints is on an uphill drag, but UAE actually has a better sprint field and a TT.

That was an excellent last stage. Happy for De Lie who looked on track since the Tour and now gets the most important win of his career.

Wellens with his 8th (!) GC podium in this race.

Shout out to Lollo Milesi who keeps racing like a madman... At some point he'll win a race surely.
