I'm looking to find the correct or compatible replacement for my Shimano FD M191 front derailleur.

Not sure whst you are fishing for, buy the same again, they're readily available abd cheaper than chips.

Easier said than done sometimes! Since the M191 is a legacy part, it’s often replaced by the Tourney TY series or the newer Altus models in most shops now. As long as you stick with a "Dual Pull" model to match your bottom routing, you'll be back on the road pretty quickly.

Maybe depends where you live, still readily available in uk, even my lbs had one a few weeks ago.
