I think Froome might be playing this one right and staying somewhat under the radar. He could really impress in the TT, and then defend a strong position for two more weeks.

I think Quintana and Rodriguez to podium, with Contador and Valverde fading later in the third week due to the lack of training (AC) and a strong Tour (AV).

AC will only get better through this gt. His only problem would be if he fell and hurt his leg even more. Look at Rafal in the Tour. AC will find even more form and rhythm as things progress.

So Froome is staying under the radar by getting beaten by his teammate V.Kiryienka with 34 seconds.I think he just doesn't have it,he's done for this Vuelta and Valverde or Contador never fade in the Vuelta anyway:D
