Just goes to show that there is no justice in cycling really. Ricco gets banned for life even though he was just one doper out of many, meanwhile the dawg is allowed to dope by the UCI and will never test positive.

Ricco has called out the Dawg in a previous interview.

It's a joke. The Dawg is the biggest fraud in cycling since the beginning of time! :)

Just like Rabobank was forced to release Michael Rasmussen from a certain Tour de France victory. He lied about his whereabouts and was a assumed doper. Instead the convicted doper Contador won!

Careful.

"artisan" in Italian means someone who does it "with their hands". He meant what he said. A craftsman. i.e. in context; he had to do it all on his own without the assistance of a team doping doctor etc.

It makes sense.
Then that is incompetent translation.

Okay, so if the entire GT field is all clean and they all ride for three weeks and one of them has the lowest overall time, who is declared the winner?

I'd like Mr. Cobra to answer this question.

Why would you say that? That's exactly what it means. If he said the word 'artisan' in natural form, then its correct, contextually speaking.

It doesn't mean that in English or at least have that connotation. Aritsna in Enlgish or American to be precise, infers a fine craftsman. You describe him doing it himself which is almost the opposite.

Its a French word to be precise. In Italian it means craftsman as well but has taken the context of "doing it by ones own hands".

But I don't know if CyclingNews picked the word on his behalf it if it was used in direct usage.
