He still climbed OWH as fast as in 2015 and the long attack was full mutant.
The whole BMC team is flying right now, maybe Richie brought some know-how from Team Sky with him, new pillows for everyone.

Pineapple flavoured pillows!!

maybe the girlfriend's gone?

which girlfriend.

the one that took some pay-off bribes about seeing things in fridges, or the fiance girlfriend. LRP is a popular guy, he could have many girlfriends, pending your definition, so this is a puzzling question about LRP

and on the pic above, LRP should realised there are three initials in LRP, the first is actually an adjective, but there are three letters in the acronym of LRP and the L in LRP stands for little. now, LRP may threaten his three letter appellation LRP.

RP does not have the same mellifluous quality, RIP LRP.
wasn't it last year that him having a girlfriend was one of the factors behind his early season improvements? along with swimming and 8hour training rides in Tasmania with best-buddy-froomey

I haven't really followed up on his marital status - I don't read No Idea, etc...

Porte about TDUnder

“The crowd is just incredible the Australian public just gets behind this race so much,’’ Porte said.

It really does feel like the Tour de France going up this climb, it’s an incredible feeling.”

Voeckler about TDYorkshire

I'm quite a popular rider in lots of places, but I was absolutely amazed with the support I had here. It was like being on a Tour de France stage in my home region of the Vendée. I'm not saying that for effect. It's the honest truth.

Interesting to see that, just like Rodgers when he left Sky to join Tinkoff-Saxo, Porte is able to retain or even improve his performance after leaving Sky. Doesn't quite fit in with suggestions that Sky dope more or are better at doping, or are protected more than their competitors.

They dominated the TdF in 2012, 13, and 15. They also had an impressive *train* in 2012 and 13. So yeah, in those years they probably doped better and more than other teams.

That said, it's only plausible to assume other teams are trying to catch up with Sky.
It's what we call an arms race.
When Rogers swapped Sky for tinkoff he was acommpanied by Sky staff. So hardly surprising to see him maintain his Sky level.
Porte is still a question mark. I doubt he'll reach Ventoux 2013 level at BMC. But even if he does, all it means is that he's learned how to prepare himself.
And, let's face it, if you look at the staff at BMC, one should expect Porte to do well this season.

Heras, Landis, Hamilton etc ring any bells ?

He might be at the same level but so far no evidence that his performance has improved

Just curious may I know the staff you're talking about. Peiper is one, anyone else ?
