That's the first time I've seen on the moto commentary. Interesting to see how large a gap actually is when the moto zooms from the peleton to the front of the race.

Has this style of commentary been used before?

Millar has done this before. Perhaps this race last year.

This course is good fun, it's always a tougher race than it looks like it should be from the profile..

Lumpy British roads strike again.

RAI sometimes have Paolo Savoldelli chasing the péloton on a moto. Probably cursing the slow speed at which it descends.

It used to happen a lot more and it's still being used, allthough not much with a camera anymore.

Sporza does it for all the classics + Belgian races + Tour.

2.5 hours ago, the race was stopped for 25-30 minutes on police advice because of congestion caused by the charity ride that goes on before the pro race.

there were 2 crashes on the Sportive so it was a bit delayed.. air helicopter had to be called

70km to go. Thomas group 35 seconds behind the Drucker group. Then the peloton/Froome group(?) is 3 minutes behind. They seem to have lost 2 minutes in the last 10km.

I think that 3 min timing is back to the peloton and the Froome group is in between.
