What an ***. this was only about a guy who was hit and left on the side of the road unconcious and the guy who found him new what the id was and called his wife while he waited 45 min for an ambulance to show up and his wife met the ambulance at the hospital.

If you don't want to use road ID don't, but why be and ******* to people who do want to use it?

+1. This is like the argument about Freddies and their $10K bikes. It comes down to personal choice. If you want to wear a Road ID because it gives you or your loved ones some sense of security, then wear one. If you don't, then don't. But if you don't, then I don't think it gives you any right to rubbish those that wear one.
