He is this year though, he's been really poor up till now. Probably the reason why he's in a long break in the first place.

At the start of year Farrar claimed he would like to target Paris-Roubaix, and even said he almost hadn't done sprint tranings in winter because of concentrating on the classics. It doesn't look like his plan works but Garmin should have sent someone in the break simply because with Millar and Navardauskas being injured they have no men to be involved in the chase.
