I enjoyed the race a lot, regardless of comparisons to the old course.

Pippo was the man today, really deserved to win that one.
Hope he wins PR :)

still Boonen want a champion he is :)

kudos to ballan also.

a shame about canc, think he could have won this. even bigger shame he will miss out on PR now.

also Paolini was super strong today. And sagan, man this kid is something.

horrible. boonen just the same guy as years before and this course is too hard for him. that's why he rode like a coward there were at least 3 guys stronger than boonen today and none of them won:

sagan
ballan
pozzato

If they make it hard Boonen might not win at PR.

I don't get the people complaining. It was an exciting race, multiple breakaway groups, the peloton dragging them back, team tactics and a good sprint finish after a small break finally gets clear. What else do people want?

Welcome to CN's forum where all races and courses are boring and all are 'wheel suckers'

Thanks, I have been reading for a while but never signed up until this week so I know the attitude of the forum and of certain posters. It's a shame because thier are some great posts/posters.

why should BMC make it hard? they will probably soft pedal until last 30, when about 7 guys will break loose, so they can hope for a sprint between Hushovd and Boonen...

WTF; Eurosport commentator talking over Boonen, apologising for the fact that you can't hear him. Stop talking then you mug.

Wow. Not only did Pippo almost win, he actually DESERVED to win just as much as Boonen and Ballan! I'm kind of shocked. I surprised myself rooting for him in the finale, so as of right now I'm a Pozzato fan.

Pretty impressed with Sagan. He still lacks a wee bit to be one of the two or three absolute favourites, and his tactics are still subpar, but he'll get there soon.

Mediocre Ronde, though. I didn't want to judge the new course before we saw it, and even though I guess there's always the possibility that this won't be the norm, it seems it's much worse than it was.

A good tactic would be for Ballan to attack and Hushovd to wheelsuck like he usually does.
