Both Pogi and MvdP are near the front with teammates. Soon the wind will come from the side.

Reynders chasing Reinders

Sadly we dont have an American guy named Reindeer in the race

If you're lucky some commentator is gonna mispronounce it Reindeers.
I still remember my first encounter with Pogacar, or Pocigar as Phil Ligget said. So chances for the Reindeer-Rider are there.

Just reading about that castle

Pycke de Peteghem

[edit]
In 1872, Baron Victor Pycke de Peteghem (1835–1875), from Oudenaarde, bought the estates. He immediately initiated rebuilding works that lasted until 1875. The third storey was integrated into a higher roof, and the interior and the gardens were renovated. There remain hardly any elements dating from before 1872. Additionally, the French garden was turned into an English garden.

Yes... Yes... exceptional castle 9/10, its inhabitants clearly had taste.

Pog is favorite. He has to be. I feel people in the media (certainly judging by Eurosport's pre race predictor) have collective amnesia and might have forgotten just how strong Pog was last season.

This is pretty much the first race this season where he can show something serious.
Pogacar didn't race RvV last year, and Van der Poel won 3 cobbled classics including the 2 monuments with very long solos.

Pogacar was also the favorite for Sanremo, dropped a huge Cipressa record and yet he didn't drop Van der Poel.

There's a lot we don't know, there's a lot of small variables that consistently get ignored, and frankly there's no way to know, and it's not some personal insult to think Van der Poel is the favorite like some seem to think it is.

If it translates to him being much stronger this year than in 2023 is hard to say. This is not a tough mountain stage, LBL or GdL, where Pog more easily can make a difference. In Ronde, only one climb is a 3 minute effort, rest is less than so and more explosive.
Which race is GdL?
