Didn't see the match, TV connection screwed up again.

Shane Williams likely to play one last match, against Australia when they play a test at the Millenium Stadium in December.

They have a chance, but the All Blacks are definitely the favourites. Look out for McCaw, Nonu and Weepu. The French will rely on their 8-9-10 combination to set something up. I'm with the Irish commentator who said "France are the first team to get to the final after losing 2 games in the pool, I want the French team to turn up, but I want the All blacks to win".

I think this is going to be horrible ... Started off not too bad for the French but not sure how long it will last.:(

Whepu's kicking is dreadful and the only reason the
French are still in it.

At half time France are still in this. The All Blacks will have to really sort out the fly half position. Weepu's place kicking has been dreadful (in normal play he's been good though, made an important tackle on Trinc-Duh). Read has made a lot of ground for the All Blacks.

I don't see that huge advantage, a lot of pressure on the All Blacks' side, i guess it's the reason why Weepu can't score so far. Even that try... it was made by the French's mistakes more than by the NZL's power. I hope the second half won't unfold the way NZL - Australia did...

i hope somebody has one for you... it's a surprisingly good game! (especially if we win :D )

one of the things i insisted when we moved here was to keep my french channels (2,3, and TF1 where i'm watching this now)... as pathetic as my french is, it's fantastically fluent compared to my dutch.
