actually i think rujano will top 30 in the prologue and in the last itt if all the things will be alright

last year they were 12th in the ttt and the giro lineup was better.this year the androids will be in the top 8 i'm sure
Top 30 you say? Wel, not exactly...142. + 1:07. Really bad guess.

I see you are like Bavarian Rider and believe you can narrow down the GC contenders based purely on a prologue result.

Of course Rujano didn't lose the Giro today or anything, and the importance of today's stage is minimal, GC-wise, but it was still a very bad performance by Rujano. I don't think anyone will disagree with this.

But again, it's not very important. Rujano is not a prologue specialist, so if he has a bad day or whatever this kind of thing can happen. It doesn't tell us much about his form.

Where did you took that BS, can you show me? I only reacted on that top 30 prediction in prologue, saying nothing about how Rujano will do than.

Rujano is 43 seconds down on the highest placed rider who could be considered a GC contender.

He took more time than that on every GC contender except Contador last year at the first serious MTF. Things are looking good ;):p

It'll be interesting how if or how much they can improve in TTT, because yesterday they were third from end

i expected a lot more, still nothing to spread panick around...we'll see if he makes it to the final week two minutes behind basso.otherwise it will be difficult...

if he has the stamina just like the muscles definition,it's bad news for everyone in the peloton.
he's looking right now like a mini overeem

he looks incredibly fit already. I was hoping he may have started with a little overweight but it seems not

I know I tlak about him a lot, but speaking about muscle definition, look at Kreuziger. Definitely looks better than Rujano. Yes, he needs to, because he is much bigger (at 66.5 kg now)

Damn, let's see Rujano smash the mountains

(but dont make Kreuziger fail top 5)

i watched him closely today.it will be a miracle if he won't lose big time in the next ten days unfortunately.at the back of the peloton 99% of the time...the androids all over the place.this is not the mercatone uno kind of unity, you will see it will be again like last year, all for themselves.savio already said serpa and sella have free roles lol wut?
if he survives until then and i hope so,it will be difficult to stop rujanito.

looking forward to the times when rujano will ride for a strong team having lots of rouleurs keeping him protected.in the mountains he needs no help.and with vuelta a espana also in the schedule.

then you didn't see him at all. he was never in teh back of the peloton. he was constantly in front and later around first 50. with de marchi. you probably saw sella

Incidentally, I always thought the way Mercatone gathered up around Pantani through his absolute crap phase in 2001-2002 was just pathetic.

that's probably because you thought pantani was pathetic. no, he was a true leader and he had true helpers

Way off the mark. I don't see how they were helping him. Helping him destroy himself, maybe.

they recognized him as a supreme team leader no matter what, loialty and all of that

androni was pathetic last year, how the hell on earth would rujano lose 5 minutes in that stage?and now it's possibly the same, only de marchi...he's strong as you can get but rujano needs another 3 or 4 like him

actually ryo,it was sella the androni guy i saw at the front more often

anyway let's hope rujano won't have bad luck because astana and liquigas will go supersonic when they will find out

look I don't want this turning into a stupid yes or no thing. but trust me. I recognize rujano out of everything. it wa shim 100% that was in the front. especially beginning of broadcast. sella was constantly in last wheels. in the final was harder to see where rujano was because he;'s so small but sella was 100% bad placed and he's always badly placed. rujano has limitations. but riding in a peloton isn't one of them. he never crashes and can manouvre well for a guy his size in a peloton. bit I agree 100% he need 8 guys around him. but that will have to wait for almost 2 weeks when he takes pink on cervinia

yeah I;m sure they were forcing him to sniff the coke outside of the races

He should never have been racing at that time. He should have taken a year or two off and tried to sort himself out in peace. Instead, there were too many people making money off him who were close to him for that to work. Some of his team-mates dealt coke for him, for example.
