filling in for ryo:

"rujano was 33th so very good. the peloton missed a chance by not riding today because sometimes rujano drops time on stages like these. the weather is good for him as well and he will own horribly this weekend laready although maybe they will go for rubiano pink first. Then rujano can relax until the third week and destroy them all. Rujano says he is stronger than ever and he will push 15 w/kg and win easily!!!"

or something like that

For someone who knows him intimately in real life and on other forums, that is a pretty poor attempt;)

Maybe you haven't gotten to know the Ryo Hazuki Cn personality as much as Gerrit Jan and "den zwartjoekel"

true, this was more of his pcmbenelux style. On CN he actually holds back (hard to imagine for people who think he's over the top) :p

As for current Sella we should applaud him for the fact that he is able to get to Milan.

sella this year peaks straight for the giro, last year he did very well too winning coppi e bartali.but he peaked for the early spring races.
sella even before 2008 could get in a giro top 10 so it would be no surprise,he looks pretty strong to me.we'll see today and tomorrow.
definitely he won't win 3 mountain stages this year, that will be rujanito

What stage could Sella win, if he can't climb at all after suspension? He is doomed to have problems with selecting in the group of 40-50 best climbers (today's stage). The only possible option is a stage like Rubiano took yesterday. Though seems like Sella is an anti time trialist to an even greater extent than Rubiano.

tomorrow=androids bringing the middle east action to il giro!

rujano and sella looked very good today but their positioning before the final kick was extremely bad.those seconds won't matter anyway

vamos rujanito the boss of the peloton today!

pcmbenelux forum is funnier than South Park and Family Guy combined. Although I like the fact that everyone keeps reminding Ryo of how wrong he was when he said Boonen peaked too early in Argentina.

Is his Dutch really that bad by the way? Or is he just faking it.

His keyboard is from 34BC.

PCMBenelux forum is mostly annoying though. Way too much nationalistic drivel, even more than here.

Rujano is a very special climber, he has a very big engine but at same time his legs haven't that much power, what can be explained with the fact of him being a very light weight guy.

That's why he lose time on this sort of finishes, short uphills, like today in Assisi or the other day in Rocca di Cambio. Because, besides he being not a explosive guy, he has low power.

But he has a very big engine, and that's why he flys over the high mountains when he has the best form, like he did on Etna and Grossglockner, or like he will do on Cervinia and Selvio, if he has de form.

It's very hard to him to win this, because he's a very limited cyclist in a very limited team, but for sure he can do podium.

he actually has increidble power in his legs. 8 watt per kg weight he recorded and in the tour 2006 prologue for 10 minutes 12 watt per kg weight. quite insane. however he is not explosive and that is his greatest achillesheel in this. basso has the same although far worse explosive but at least he's got an entire team around him that rujano does not have.

you haven't been there in a long time. it's far less worse than here and above all it's more free. there you don;'t get banned for laughing at cav's crash no. in fact 5 other guys will laugh as well and make even more fun of it. it's also a plus that most of us there know each other in reallife

So Rujano averaged 576W for 10 minutes in the Tour prologue? Calling bull**** on this one.

i dont' know about pampeago but one thing is certain:cervinia and stelvio are exactly what rujanito needs....he will slaughter a lot of guys there if he keeps the form and right now he has it big time,i'm sure of it.he just needs to keep himself healthy and avoid the crashes,4 days left...

What do you mean by 8 watt per kg? And what do you mean 12 watt per kg for minutes? This is 576 w for 10 minutes. It is impossible, I am sure that even Hushovd who won that prolgue did not do 576 watts.

Just what has Rujano done so far to make us think his form is impressive? I don't see it.

absolutely nothing race results-wise.i just hear the stories around.
purito said rujano is the biggest threat on one of his interviews.the guy trained like a freaking machine far away from the cops and with the mental of a champion,he's a mini-overeem look at his muscles this year.he trained in order to peak tremendously just for one event:giro d'italia
he said it himself that he could have went for wins in trentino too but he just trained there.and that he feels he's better than last year.

again barring an ivan basso with 2006 form, there aren't people in the giro who can do stratospheric performances besides rujano.of course if pozzovivo keeps this kind of form for three weeks than yeah rujano is in trouble.

i just hope he will be healthy on cervinia stage.there he will attack on the steepest section with 10 km to go.it will be showtime.

now discussing about rujano's watts data gave by ryo that's plain crazy:p
