Would be good to get a little context on the story. There is a big gap between getting caught with a suitcase of EPO (or whatever - just making a point) and getting in trouble because you are carrying a medication without prescription.

Note that I am NOT trying to say that he is or isn't guilty - just saying it would be great to know what he was carrying.

Also, there is a difference between being arrested and being charged. A charge is possible to find if you do some digging in a country's legal system but finding a record of an arrest and release is a LOT harder. If they let him go (and they obviously must have) then they may not have charged him which will make verifying the whole thing very hard.

I wish when people had information like this they would just publish the whole thing and be done with it instead of being cryptic. Imagine how much easier life would be

I suppose it depends on whether you have a prescription for EPO (or whatever), as well.

If you're a pharma-tourist to Canada or Mexico, bringing home a suitcase full of your prescribed medication might not be odd, or particularly unethical.
