He should have stayed with attacking. That's how he used to win races.

He should have gone to some smalish IAM like team where he can be captain and focus on taking the hilly stages in the tour and other stage races.

Imagine a Chava EBH combo lol, that would be epic.

Quintana=Froome
Valverde is probably = to Porte (I think Porte is very, very good but I'll probably get lambasted if I go on about how great he is).
Interesting observation. In terms of GC, I think it's something like this now:

1. Froome
2. Quintana
3. Nibali
4. J-Rod
5. Valverde
6. Porte
7. Contador (maybe even lower now)
8. Horner
9. Uran
10. Kreuziger
11-20: Mollema, Tejay, Evans, Scarponi, Bentancur, Heano, Kwai, Costa, Pozzovivo

How many have Movistar won? We all no your biast if Henao was 2nd instead of Quintana at the TDF and was the bigger talent you'd say sky have the best climbers and pound for pound Sky do have them, did you miss the TDF last year or you saying Porte is below Valverde.

All Porte is yet to do is have the result to back it up, these races or Valverde's best as their punchy climbs Valverde was not better in the TDF than Porte, Porte had 1 bad day.

valverde has won multiple classics. other than him they don't have the riders nor the ambition for the classics. sky do, also for cobbles and msr.

nairo is a better climber than froome already and he will only improve since being so young. his showing in san luis with overweight was already tremendous

No just no Ryo they are very close but i would give Froome the edge in any race were Froome is fresh, in the final week Quintana had the better recovery though. And even if Quintana ends up better(which he should do) im sure you would agree its going to be evry hard to beat Froome still in the TDFfor a while.

Edit:
Also in San Luis the competition is not as strong as Oman so i dont think we can use San luis, trust me im a huge Quintana fan so im in no way diminishing him Ryo just saying its bit soon to be sure he is better dude.

I think he will, but he has to change team first, of course. I hope he joins IAM.

He aslo does ok in WC doesn't he i feel he is still young enough to do well he just so unlucky as he does not really be the best at 1 thing he is so all round it sort of goes against him.

If he would commit and say im gonna go stage hunting he could be better than even riders like LuLu and TV, and as he is young he could win stages for years to come i think thats his best bet go in breaks he would almost be guarantedd to win in breakaways on hilly and flat stages.

But i think he thinks thats a waste and he probably holding onto possibility of getting a big classic win which you cant blame him for.

How would your top 20 look like, Ryo? I'll find you actually very knowledgeable. You were right about Kwai gaining on Costa on a short TT.

Remember, we're talking stage races, not individual performances.

Any chance of EBH skipping P-R or RVV and trying AGR instead (I think he should skip P-R, in RVV he has at least been top 20)? Believe this is the classic he has the best chance of winning. Good final for EBH which we saw in the Worlds.

he has made a top 20 before. Can't remember how it quite looked though, but I think Scarponi was clearly a better climber than Nibali if my memory serves me correct.
