Flanders has never been a major classic, in my opinion. Does not come close to the other four.

This won't help.

Wtf have you been drinking today?

Still a decent final with Kruisberg - Paterberg and Oude Kwaremont as final 3 hills.

But not the same as Muur - Bosberg :(

The Paterberg is harder than the Muur. As for the Oude Kwaremont, now that will be pretty cool to see people accelerate as if their life depended on it.

By the way, Oudenaarde is a really beautiful city while Ninove is an ugly piece of sh*t. So the finish line will definitely be better. It will just need 20 years to make the prestige of the Kwaremont go up. It will get the same status of the Muur in due time.

Does anyone know how close the last hill is to the finish. Gilbert should be given sole leadership for BMC, Thor sucks at this. Maybe Phil can share leadership if Ballan stays in BMC(really unlikely). They can make a great duo for RVV and MSR. I prefer to see Gilbert win on cobbles then on hills. Its harder for him on the cobbles;)

He's already been third twice. It took Phil 2 fourth places at LBL as well before he won it. Thor already said he'll be working for Phil at the Ronde.

Gilbert will the leader.

With GVA Thor and GH protected roles with to hope to top 15 - but will work in the final if required.

I would love to see Evans have a real go at this race .

Thor is only good at PR and I never see him winning it.

Dont think Evans will. Im not sure if he can handle those cobbles in a real classic.

with 3 local tours around Oudenaarde (with Paterberg and Kwaremont), I hope the finale won't start to look like a criterium

The Amstel Gold Race does 3 big laps around Valkenburg... it's not new
And Montreal and Quebec are circuit races and proven to be very entertaining.

Yet in Flanders, it feels like raping a classic

you can't really compare the big loops that the Amstel makes to the 3 local rounds that they are going to do in Oudenaarde ...

personally I think it's bad ...

Personally I'll wait to see how the race turns out before screaming "they're ruining EVERYTHING!!!" at the top of my lungs.
