Sagan's career, for the moment, should revolve around Spring Classics and then stages/green at the Tour.

You mean the Cav jersey? With the current rules I doubt Sagan will win the green any time soon. Assuming Cavendish remains as fast as ever of course.

And assuming that the tour organisers keep overlooking the rules concerning time limits. Last year's green jersey was stolen from Rojas.

If anyone is overlooking the rules, it's you. ;)

The forum rules. Pretty clear by his post that he didn't know what rules you were referring at, so you could have just told him.

to clarify the rule is that if there is more than x riders that miss the cut they can continue.

I think.

but cav missed the cut on more than 1 occasion and there were less than x iirc

Nah its like 30% of the peloton. And there were enough people on both stages that missed the cut.

Its another case of the Tour organizers being dicks though, or lazy anyway as they often are.

Because this way everyone just conspires to come in together and they all stay in,

It should at least be that you get penalised more than 30 points. That way people like Rojas would have more interest in staying up.

You don't. Feel free to acknowledge Cavendish as the rightful winner of the green jersey, whenever you're ready.

I won't. He deserved it in 2010, it was taken away from him. But not in 2011.
If not Rojas, it should've been Gilbert with the old rules
