what a dreadful and dull race without Remco

Actually I found it quite fun, with a lot of attacking and aggressive racing, and close racing until the line. While I adore Remco's 30km solos, it can kill the racing in the end.

Just not good enough. Dont think ive ever seen Vingegaard beeing strong/good enough for a one day race even though its alot of climbing in it. I might be wrong but atleast not a race ive seen.

In 2022 pogacar lose the tour to his rival after a great Visma display and then DNF San sebastien 2022 after a very weak performance. He's doing fine now. I wouldn't place any emphasis on today for the future of Vingegard carreer

Yes this one of my favourite races this year I think, I know some like it but it's good to see races with some suspense, without someone stomping off early and never being seen from again. Last year was pretty good too because Evenepoel wasn't at his best.

Yeah of course it’s normal to be a little off his best, but I haven’t seen Vingegaard’s get dropped from a group of 30 on a climb in a number of years regardless of race or time of year. This after he was putting in all-time climbing performances a few weeks ago.

Same thing (more or less) happened to Pogi in 2022 edition of the same race.
