Lotto definitely didn't get it right today, though Ewan shouldn't have been positioned much better to have given Groenewegen a run for his money.

Groenewegen almost messed that up after a perfect leadout. Ewan as fast as ever but the Lotto train still not the most consistent.

15 more meters and Ewan would have won. He was in good position with about 800 meters to go but wound up having to come from too far behind with not enough road...

Looks like Ewan got boxed in and lost position. Still managed third. Nice win for DG. Would be nice to have more than 1 or 2 elite sprinters this year.

LTS messed up a bit there with Ewan being that fast, but they did only have Kluge and De Buyst left there with Selig crashing out and Drizners having to do a lot of work today.

Good win for Groenewegen, but defnitely didn't look that impressive to me.

Quick Step doing it again. Noone is on their level echelon wise.

Buitrago 2nd group, Charmig 3rd group.
Maxim Van Gils first group.

EDIT: Costa also 2nd group, but looks like 2nd and 3rd group are coming together. 30 seconds to first group. Could def still close that gap cause 2nd group is big.

Interesting situation here:
Right now I would say: Stage win Bagioli, but GC? Totally open, Maxim Van Gils has the best cards right now, I would say..

Costa is in the second group (with Buitrago, Charmig...)

Renard is another rider to watch in the first group.

There's something heroic about two bandaged riders looking very human as they battle it out up some brutal gradients.
