Didn't catch too much of DAOTEC as I wasn't on here regularly until after he got banned. From from the little of what I've seen, and the fact that people still mention him from time to time, his perceptive usage of sock-puppets as well, I just thought it would be hilarious if airstream was DAOTEC

I've thought it all along. I've been meaning to pm Hitch because he was the first to question Airstream about the inconsistencies in his posts. Somedays his posts are almost indecipherable, as if he's trying to appear to be someone who's first language is something other than english and other days his posts are quite clear and concise. I don't think it's Flicker though.

Well, with him "being from Minsk", I would fully expect him to address me in Russian in the PM's that he'd send me, which he didn't. But this doesn't really prove anything.

Anyway, from the looks of it he's retiring from the forums as airstream for a while, so there will be no avatar bet.

Yes I have also been confused that he only ever posts in Schleck threads whilst he actually seems to have a much broader cycling knowledge than would befit such behaviour.

DAOTEC is the guy who got banned then went onto his sockpupet account and posted the "you are banned" pm, seemingly unaware that this action would lifeban both the original DAOTEC account and his sockpuppet account.

No way DAOTEC is airstream. DAOTEC has his own unique style. Besides since airstream came here DAOTEC started a sockpuppet and was found out called coledeportes.

LOL, pretty funny. But if I understand correctly, most people(not just the mods) actually found him annoying, correct?

As for airstream - if nothing else, I'm positive he's native in Russian, so at least that issue can be dropped....

i mean i was watching LBL and fleche and you all know those huge,heavy luxembourg,schleck flags

Im not quite getting the logic. I claim not to speak Russian and airstream (allegedly my sockpuppet) also claims not to speak Russian. Isnt the whole point of a sockpuppet that you claim to be different from the original poster?


Though to be honest i wouldnt mind taking credit for some of his posts.

This was very witty for example.

The little boss suits Contador more considering his anthropometry.

There was another one i cant remember where he basically posted 4 or 5 superlong very rarely used words, not long after claiming he couldnt speak english.

Not for any rational reason but just because the race which really got me into cycling was Schleck vs Contador on the Tourmalet and as the underdog I naturally was inclined to support Schleck.
