Is it widely known that Boonen doesn't like Contador? What is the backstory as to the reasons why?

LaFlorecita said:That's already pretty old but nvm.
In 2013 ASO will keep him out of it, maybe in 2014 too and from 2015 onwards he's way too old.
Too bad.

When Lance won the tdf 2005 he was 33y old![]()
And I don't see how the ASO can keep him out of the 2013 tdf?
LaFlorecita said:Not too old but old as in not young anymore.
Also Lance started winning at a relatively old age. To compare Alberto won his 3th Tour when Lance won his first. You can't compare them.
airstream said:I just announced a majority opinion. Additionally bookmakers proceed not only from riders' nominal strength, but also players' stereotypes of thinking and awareness. And yet Contador got about 60% votes on CN. I personally сonsidered he couldn't hit even top-10. Isn't Michael Rasmussen an expert?![]()
I was saying quite obvious stuff. Afterall, saying "over-competitive" we imply GT wins.
Angliru said:Technically Armstrong was winning quite young. He won his wc in his early
20's. He didn't start winning his tours till his late 20's.

I don't know "win" because it depends if another rider surpass him or not but his level is still growing and is 29, at least he could deliver even at 34 (Evans was 34 last year) and we see then if he can extend his career.

Also, is that Wiggins in your avatar...![]()

Forunculo said:I think physically Contador's body is better than Cadel so he can age more and better than him.
And the avatar was a fail bet in Mende about Wiggo parked on the slopes...
Edit: "webbie146" I clearly miss the point then dX sorry.

So, LaFlorecita, we expect many many happy years accompanied by numerous Andy's wins at the Tour.![]()
