Sella got caught in a "out of competition" testing & made a deal with CONI to get reduced his sentence to 1 year, since he cooperated.

Ahhh, so if Valverde cooperates with CONI, he can expect to get 1 year?

as i posted in another thread this is the problem with the national associations dishing out the bans as what incentive do they have to ban top riders etc. They just make a deal and give them a soft ban so they can get their star back. Once a rider is guilty it should go to CAS who issue a ban
