Every time I see ads like this I click on them......so they will send more.

Of course these are related to cycling as much of this lingerie is made of some form of Lycra.

Could we get a list of body parts we are not allowed to name? It sure would make things easier and insure that none of us step over the line.

Look I understand that my previous statements considering mammaries was perhaps a bit childish. But really these ads influence the manner in which the forum is perceived and what can be deemed as appropriate, so if you cannot take away the ads you best be prepared for the fact that such statements will be deemed appropriate. Which is exactly what I said earlier and which Pedaling stated:

You cannot control the ads, and I am sure they have been nothing but a headache for you. But they are a part of the forum and their content influences the forum. To say that, CN is going to profit by showing breasts in the forum, but members cannot discuss breasts in the forum is ridiculous to the point of being insulting. The forum is the forum; the ads are not separate from the posts. You didn't start this mess, but you took ownership of it once you started to moderate based on a principle of "we can do it but you cannot". Your moderation policy has tied you firmly to FP/CN even though your posts have been boob-free. Inappropriate is inappropriate; if it's not good for the goose, the gander had better not be making a buck on the side.

Yet Susan cannot reasonably oppose these statements, thus she ignores them, but this contradiction between wat CN/FP is allowed to put in these threads and what the members are allowed to put in these threads is striking and does not lend any credence to the moderating policies and appear to be completely hypocritical

I thought everyone didnt like the ads and the nonsense they add to threads, so why are you trying to put innapropriate nonsense in the threads... just to make the rest of the forum like the ads, why???? We cant remove the ads although daniel benson had a few of them removed(although I have the ad block so I have no idea whats here and what isnt...), all we can do is complain to mr benson( who I dont think has much say in them either)... anyway isnt there a thread about the ads...

I don't think so. They just deleted my post that asked which of 138 terms for breasts was okay to use. It was an honest question. How will I know which terms are inappropriate if they won't tell me?

But how can you hold the members of a forum to a higher standard than that the forum itself is held to?

Standards are a matter of each person's individual choice. Some people have VERY high standards. Other people have very low standards. Some people have LOTS of standards and others have not much in the way of standards.

Standards are also very much a matter of personal preference. Some standards are very firmly held, while others are much more relaxed.

Some people don't care much about standards at all, but those people are B00BS!

This really freakin blows. I can't believe that TFF got banned for using a word to described to describe mammary glands which are part of 50% of the world's population. It is like being able to say "god" on the Tonight Show and being able to say "damn" in the very next sentence. But you can't say "godamn son of a freakin ***** who doesn't even live in Pennsylvania" to describe Rick Santorum. Just read any of the newspapers today. "Santorum" is spread all over the place. How gross is that? Don't the papers know what that means? This sucks. Long live Pickles because they taste good.

If the New York Times and Fox News can spread santorum all over the place, then TFF should be able to say nipple, jugs, hooters, ta-ta's, fun bags, hackey sacks, peanut brittles, inverted berties, boobs, roosters, squantos or breasts all he wants.

I have never been banned anywhere. I just find it perplexing that you have a whole thread to report bannings. Man, that some heavy duty over-moderation. You have a forum. Let the people speak. You may not agree with them but it seems as if you folks are oversensitive. I haven't perused this forum all that much. But I know TFF and I know how valuable a member he is to any forum...unless the forum wants to be milk toast suck-ups like Phil Liggett.
