So do we now have a successor for Jens Vogt?

Johnny Hoogerland is a shoe-in, IMO!

First off damn I can't believe he continued like that. And second yeah I think he might be the next Voigt, he just needs to be a little smarter and we have an amazing rider to all cheer on for the next 5+ years.

For what its worth, i also think it was irrisponsible of cn and others to put it on the website with no warning prior to the picture.

On this of all days, Hoogerland becomes a successor to Vino.

the Vino comparison is probably better at the mo due to Hoogerland fairly limited sessions on the front of the peloton but a willingness (nay determination) to attack at all times puts him in with the legends

I have to say Hoogerland took it quite well after the accident. I would be wanting to punch that driver in the head.

teamskyfans and his massive over-sensitivity strikes yet again

i think with websites they should have warmings. Children, sensitive women visit these places.

Not everyone enjoys looking at blood.

LOL ! It's like we've gone back to Victorian days.

When I was a child - I was always scraping my knees or generally making myself bleed. And I'm sure most women see blood pretty regularly too.

dim you are a great guy and one of the best posters in this forum with all streams and stuff like that but you clearly are more sensible then the average person so you shouldn't judge this kind of things by your standards.

and what you said was a bit sexist. i am pretty sure you are more sensible then any girl/women i know.

The thing is crashes are apart of cycling. Unfortunate as they are, images such as they illustrate the risk they take.

I am sure the majority of cycling fans - and if you join here you are obvious are just that - are aware of this fact also.

So yes, I see no problem with such images being posted.

The WW incident is a whole different story tho, disrespectful.
