Universal Sports is shutting down for good.

I haven't kept up with what is broadcast where in the U.S. at all, so I have no idea if the UCI did any business with them at this point.

NBC, the parent company, is expected to take the coverage to their main sports channel, but it's not a given. You may end up with recorded broadcasts only.

I'm not surprised - seems like they had a lousy business model. Universal Sports (US) had coverage of not only cycling but other major sports such as skiing and track & field, but for whatever reason pulled coverage from the internet (unless you were a US subscriber), from over-the-air broadcast, and from Comcast. I sure hope NBC and beIN pick up these events.
