So as excpected 0 GC relavance on after Gavia nd Stelvio:rolleyes::rolleyes: All that hype for nothing

Kind of understandable that nobody has tried anything yet. Anyone who finishes this, whether last or first, is a hero IMO.

The hype is for the hardness of the stage. No one was never gonna attack there, that's obvious. But they'll feel it on Val Martello.

I tense up every time they cut to a hairpin replay expecting someone to slide out, but so far everyone seems to be staying upright

Of course. Even less would have happened (if that's possible) with good weather.

I think everyone would've been happier with nice weather. However, these climbs will have an effect in the final climb.

It's just wet road. Nothing extraordinary, nothing that would indicate dangerous conditions.

Shiiiiit that guy went almost over the barier in that turn
Neutraliz means the time gains/losses in descent wont matter
Anyway no ice on the road at least

So if Cataldo gains 1 minute here and then wins by 59 seconds, he won't win?

Hahaha the neutralizing failed

I wonder what happens to the riders who stopped at the top like Kelderman and Majka. Are they now ****ed?

'Unbelievable' doesn't do justice to these brutal conditions. Fingers crossed that no one gets hurt....or freezes to death!

OFC not. That was nonsense. . .

I would like to see someone telling Cataldo to slow down on the flat in order to lose the time he gained on the neutralised descent lol

They will make it back easily, just have to take a couple of risks. I doubt the peloton is hammering it

This is the Giro, a grand tour. To me they look like they want to hold up the tradition and the riders are prepared to show what the Giro is all about, being a tough grind and face all adversities. They are only doing 130km's today, not like the 300-400 of yesteryear, they get warm clothing changes and don't have to carry gear on their backs.
